We are a laboratory specialised in slip resistance testing. We carry out slip resistance tests both in the laboratory and on site, in accordance with national standards (referenced in CTE DB SUA) and international standards (EN 13036-4, EN 16165, DIN, DCoF, among others).

On-Site Testing
Evaluation of flooring under real conditions using the friction pendulum:
· Wet pendulum testing for pedestrian surfaces.
· Dry pendulum testing for dry indoor areas.
· Friction pendulum (EN 13036-4) for airport surfaces and vehicular traffic areas.
These tests make it possible to obtain accurate information about the condition and performance of the surface once installed. (falls, slips, new-build projects, completed works)
Friction Pendulum Calibration
We carry out the periodic verification of the friction pendulum to ensure:
· Stability and proper operation of the equipment
· Metrological traceability
· Reliable testing
In addition to calibration, we offer a comprehensive advisory service on equipment maintenance.
· Management of repairs for damaged or faulty pendulums.
· Full inspection to ensure the pendulum remains operational at all times.
ENAC-Accredited Slip Resistance Testing with the Friction Pendulum
Friction pendulum testing makes it possible to measure the slip resistance of flooring and surfaces, assessing their performance in relation to the risk of slips and falls. This method, governed by standard EN 13036-4, is commonly used to verify that floors comply with the values required by the Spanish Technical Building Code (CTE – DB SUA) in terms of safety in use and accessibility.
Through this test, it is possible to determine whether a floor surface is suitable for use in indoor areas, outdoor areas or wet zones, thus ensuring regulatory compliance and user safety.
