Shoes for slip resistance tests

Rubber shoes have a useful life of 24 months. Each rubber shoe is supplied with the manufacturer’s declaration of conformity and the date of manufacture. Once a shoe has expired, it must be replaced immediately. The rubber shoes should also be replaced after the allowable wear on each side of the shoe has been exceeded.

Nominal hardness 57 ± 4 IRHD according to ISO 48-2: 2018. Typically this shoe is used to test rough surfaces in wet conditions or on roads. In addition, it is used to measure the slip resistance of barefoot traffic surfaces, such as swimming pools and their facilities.
